Wizard Fix Terms and Conditions

By booking any service with Wizard Fix Limited, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to protect all parties and ensure a transparent and professional working relationship.

1. Service Charges

  • Services are billed based on time taken unless a fixed-price quote has been provided in writing.

  • Fixed-price quotes include:

    • Labour

    • Materials (unless specifically excluded)

    • VAT and applicable taxes

    • Congestion and toll charges

  • Parking charges are excluded and will be billed based on local rates. If free parking is available, please notify us at the time of booking.

2. Additional Services and Charges

  • Packaging removal is a separate service and will be quoted independently.

  • If circumstances not previously disclosed (e.g. property layout, restricted access) affect the service, we reserve the right to adjust the price or apply additional charges accordingly.

3. Liability and Working Conditions

  • Wizard Fix Limited does not accept liability for any damage to goods or property incurred during the provision of services.

  • Customers must ensure adequate space and a safe working environment. Time spent clearing space on arrival may reduce the booked time and could result in delays or incomplete work.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe, clear access to the work area.

  • Informing us in advance of any access restrictions (e.g. stairs, security codes).

  • Securing pets or young children during the visit.

  • Ensuring a responsible adult (18+) is present on-site throughout the appointment.

5. Delays Caused by the Customer

  • If the service is delayed due to customer action or inaction (e.g. no access, unprepared environment), Wizard Fix reserves the right to:

    • Deduct this time from the booking.

    • Reschedule the visit and/or charge for waiting time.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full by credit or debit card at the time of accepting a quote and confirming the booking.

  • Once a booking slot is offered, it must be confirmed with payment by the given deadline. Failure to pay by the deadline may result in loss of that slot.

  • Until the deadline, the booking date and time are provisionally reserved.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a charge at our discretion.

8. Arrival Windows and Access

  • Our standard arrival window is 1 hour, unless otherwise specified.

  • If delays occur, we will notify you with an updated ETA.

  • If no access is available on arrival, our team will wait up to 20 minutes. After this, the job will be marked as failed and a £50 no-access fee will be charged.

9. Staff Solicitation and Private Work

  • Customers are strictly prohibited from directly soliciting Wizard Fix staff for private jobs or unofficial work.

  • Any such activity may result in:

    • Immediate cancellation of all bookings

    • Suspension of the customer account

    • Internal investigation by management

  • We operate a zero-tolerance policy on activities that circumvent the company.

10. Use of Images

  • Our team may take photos for completion reports and internal quality checks.

  • These may be used for marketing on our website or social media.

  • If you do not consent to the use of such images for marketing, please notify our office team in writing.

11. Service Guarantee

  • We strive to deliver all services to a high professional standard. If you are not satisfied, please report any issues to us within 7 days of service completion.

  • Requests for remedial visits or corrections made outside of this timeframe may incur additional charges.

12. Right to Refuse Service

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any service where:

    • The environment is unsafe or hazardous

    • Abuse, harassment, or threatening behaviour is directed toward staff

    • The customer breaches our terms

13. Limitation of Liability

  • Wizard Fix Limited shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

14. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:​

    • Adverse weather

    • Staff illness

    • Transport disruptions

    • Strikes or industrial action

15. Data Protection & Privacy

  • Wizard Fix complies with the UK GDPR. Personal data provided to us will only be used to manage your booking, deliver our services, and communicate with you.

  • We do not share personal data with third parties without your explicit consent. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

16. Amendments to Terms

  • These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in relation to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
