London's Most Trusted Handyman & Home Services

I contacted Wizard Fix for a somewhat unusual job: three existing IKEA PAX wardrobes with large mirrored sliding doors needed to be carefully dismantled and temporarily moved while new flooring was installed, then reassembled afterwards. This was quite different from simply assembling new flat-pack furniture, and I had found it surprisingly difficult to find someone with the right experience and confidence to dismantle older wardrobes and successfully reassemble them. Wizard Fix understood what was required from the outset, and communication throughout was friendly, helpful and responsive. The wardrobes are around 11 years old but in very good condition, and after dismantling and reassembly they are once again sturdy and fully functional. One sliding door did have a small clearance problem afterwards, but although it was a relatively minor issue, Wizard Fix readily arranged a return visit. Their fitter took the time to investigate it carefully, eventually identifying a very small and elusive cause and resolving the problem completely. For me, good service is not only about everything going perfectly first time, but also about how a company responds when something needs further attention. I was very impressed with both the workmanship and customer service and would happily use Wizard Fix again and recommend them without reservation.
